Version: stripe-card-terms-v1 · Effective: 2026-07-15
1. Identification of the parties
Pay-Bo (pay-bo.com) is a platform operated by ValidMe LLC. The Merchant is the business identified in the payment request and Stripe Checkout. The Client or Payer is the person who provides and authorizes the payment method.
Pay-Bo acts as a technical integrator, while Stripe processes and tokenizes card data. Pay-Bo is not a bank, card issuer, or payment network.
2. Purpose of storage
The exclusive purpose is to facilitate future purchases at the same Merchant without requiring the Payer to re-enter complete card details.
Storage is optional. Declining it does not prevent completion of the current payment through Stripe Checkout.
3. Scope and linking
The tokenized card is linked only to the Merchant where consent was granted and to the corresponding Stripe environment. Consent granted to one Merchant does not authorize use by another Pay-Bo merchant.
Pay-Bo stores Stripe technical identifiers and masked data such as brand, last four digits, and expiration. It does not store the full card number or CVC.
4. Charges and confirmation
Subsequent charges are not subscriptions or automatic recurring debits. Every new transaction requires the Payer to expressly confirm the amount, currency, Merchant, and masked card through WhatsApp.
The issuing bank may require additional 3-D Secure authentication. In that case, the Payer must complete authorization on a secure page; Pay-Bo never requests a PIN, CVC, password, or OTP through WhatsApp.
5. Security and data processing
Stripe stores and processes sensitive card data under its security controls. Pay-Bo uses tokens and technical references to request authorized payments.
- Pay-Bo does not receive or store the full PAN, CVC, PIN, or OTP.
- Technical records, audits, and messages display masked data only.
- Sandbox and Production do not share customers, cards, or consent records.
6. Cancellation and revocation
The Payer may withdraw consent and request card removal at any time through the secure Pay-Bo flow or by contacting support@pay-bo.com.
Revocation prevents new attempts with that card but does not erase the minimum evidence required for consent, payment, refund, dispute, or audit records.
7. Refunds and disputes
Refund requests or purchase disputes must first be directed to the Merchant. Pay-Bo provides technical support under the rules of the Merchant, Stripe, card networks, and applicable law.
8. Support, validity, and jurisdiction
The official channel for questions, revocation, or support is support@pay-bo.com. These terms are effective July 15, 2026 and correspond to version stripe-card-terms-v1.
The laws applicable to the operator, Merchant, and transaction apply. If this translation differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish text prevails.
Payer consent
By selecting the option to save the card, the Payer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and authorizes Pay-Bo and Stripe to prepare and store the payment method for the purposes described here.
